Mind Transformation

This is a very nice poem that I think describes subtly and gently the transformation of the mind as a person evolves and learns from mistake in life.

As a leaking vessel never can fill
Waters of Life so pure and still
So distracted mind fails to retain
Wisdoms nectar in its brain

To fill waters from wisdoms spring
Our minds we must to stillness bring
Then our crystal bowl of tranquil mind
With Gnosis fills of supernal kind

But if the very thoughts of mind
Be as fleeting deer and hind
Darting wayward ways they find
Such men to wisdoms ways are blind

To ease disease of random mind
A remedy suitable we must find
A rhythmic breathing tension free
Absorption as its sovereign key

Steady poise the arrow your will
And shoot the fleeting mind to still
The deer of thoughts , hinds & harts
Felled by your concentrated darts

As one by one they die away
Mind opens up to new day
Streams run tranquil willows sway
Here tame and gentle deer do play

Tamed and tuned to natures flow
Mind melts into the opal glow
Which radiates from the Soul within
Where Wisdoms mystic fire is King!

A Box Full of Kisses

The story goes that some time ago, a man punished his 3-year-old daughter for wasting a roll of gold wrapping paper. Money was tight and he became infuriated when the child tried to decorate a box to put under the Christmas tree.

Nevertheless, the little girl brought the gift to her father the next morning and said, "This is for you, Daddy." The man was embarrassed by his earlier overreaction, but his anger flared again when he found out the box was empty. He yelled at her, stating, "Don't you know, when you give someone a present, there is supposed to be something inside? The little girl looked up at him with tears in her eyes and cried, "Oh, Daddy, it's not empty at all. I blew kisses into the box. They're all for you, Daddy." The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little girl, and he begged for her forgiveness.

Only a short time later, an accident took the life of the child. It is also told that her father kept that gold box by his bed for many years and, whenever he was discouraged, he would take out an imaginary kiss and remember the love of the child who had put it there. In a very real sense, each one of us, as humans beings, have been given a gold container filled with unconditional love and kisses... from our children, family members, friends, and God.

There is simply no other possession, anyone could hold, more precious than this.

The Butterfly Effect - 7 Minutes Attunement

(To obtain the bountiful blessings of HEALTH, SUCCESS, PEACE & PROSPERITY)

This is a meditation technique that enables one to attune to God and the Cosmic, to the Spirit that is the ultimate reality. It is simple and easy, and can be done in just about seven minutes. Anyone who performs it should do so at the prescribed time of 8:00—8:07 pm (Manila time).

In a private room where you will not be disturbed, sit in silence. Close your eyes, put your hands on your lap, with the palms down. Relax. Empty your mind of all thoughts and mundane concerns. Be at peace.

When you have done this, focus your attention on your very being (HEART). Visualize yourself as imbued with the attributes of

8:00 - 8:01 Joy...
8:01 - 8:02 Peace...
8:02 - 8:03 Harmony...
8:03 - 8:04 Vitality...
8:04 - 8:05 Infinite Goodness...
8:05 - 8:06 Power...
8:06 - 8:07 Love and Kindness...

Permeate your whole being with each attribute, one at each turn. Vividly feel each emotion, letting it fill and flood your entire being, until you feel yourself becoming the very embodiment of those attributes. At this point, you must forget who you are and where you are, and be completely engulfed in the experience of yourself as joy, peace, harmony, vitality, and so on.

Afterwards, stop your visualization and relax. Just be, stay in a passive state for a few moments. Then rise and continue with your usual routine for the evening.

Oneness of All Being

There is a bond, unseen but unmistakable, that links man to man, man to beast, man to plant, and man to mineral. The familiar phrase, "All is one, and one is all" speaks of this connection and union between all beings.

This bond is easily seen between mother and child, but it too is apparent between man and his mate, between twins, and among close friends and family members. There too, according to some New Agers, is a special link between so-called "Soul Mates" and "Twin Mates."

We are part of the earth and it is part of us. The perfumed flowers are our sisters. The bear, the deer, the great eagle, these are our brothers. The rocky crests, the dew in the meadow, the body heat of the pony, and man--all belong to the same family. We love this earth as a newborn loves its mother's heartbeat.

For hundreds of years, the Indians lived in harmony with nature, treating fauna and flora as their dear brothers and sisters, and Mother Earth as their sustainer and protectress. They recognized and lived by the Universal Law of Oneness of all creation.

Hopefully, this oneness will also translate soon into action, for the advancement of the human race and for the harmonious co-existence of all beings.

"Will you teach your children what we have taught our children? That the earth is our mother? That what befalls the earth befalls all the sons of the earth?"

True to these words, the destruction that has befallen the planet is now being borne by the starving and suffering sons of man. World hunger, poverty, pollution, and environmental destruction are some unpleasant realities of the present.

I hope it is not yet too late for the human race.
